Emotion Puppets

Recognising facial expressions and understanding feelings helps children when communicating their own emotions as well as empathising with others.

Creating their own puppets is a great way for children to explain how they may be feeling or to get them talking about a particular situation that they might be experiencing.

Colour in these shapes and draw a mouth to indicate their emotion. Use paddle pop sticks or spoons to turn them into puppets.
